After almost a year and a half since the launch of New World, Amazon Games is releasing the first season of the MMORPG. We reveal what camaraderie and fire has to offer.

Some time has passed since September 2021. The initial hype surrounding New World was eventually followed by stagnating player numbers. Now the first season is supposed to bring a breath of fresh air again and maybe even attract a few “lost” community members.

The story of Camaraderie and Fire deals with your assembling of an elite mercenary group called the Silver Crows. Your first employer Skye, the Spear Daughter, asks you to uncover and thwart the machinations of a powerful warlock and the Varangian Horde.

In addition, the new Level 60+ Expedition Empyreum Forge offers you camaraderie and fire the new Level 60+ Expedition. This is set in the Great Divide and takes you through snowy regions infested with the Corrupted. Together with your commander Sir Loth, you travel to this place to stop the flow of mysterious magic deep within the necropolis.

To make all the effort worthwhile in the first season of New World, players can look forward to a new Firestorm Heart Gem and an equipment set storage mechanic, among other things.

First Season, First Season Pass

Along with the first season in New World, Amazon Games is also introducing the first Season Pass. This lets you earn XP through seasonal activities, which allows you to level up and unlock new rewards. On the one hand, this consists of a free part that is accessible to all community members. Those who reach level 25 can purchase the premium part to receive additional rewards. You can find more information about the seasonal model in the (official blog).
