The Minecraft Movie has done it again and the internet community is freaking out over their weird look. In a new trailer, which was broadcast on the occasion of an American basketball event, the creators showed the appearance of the villagers known from the game for the first time – and many players find this “totally cursed”.
Because the look of the movie tries to combine real film and game graphicsand gives the villagers an angular appearance, but shockingly fleshy skin and wrinkles. The friendly NPCs don’t look particularly trustworthy with bushy eyebrows either.
The movie is also repeatedly compared to the first drafts of the Sonic Movie from 2020. Its first trailers caused outrage in the community.The Minecraft movie is scheduled to debut in local theaters on April 4.
