How do you make self-proclaimed nerd Henry Cavill happy? It’s simple: Give him a rare set of his favorite *Warhammer 40,000* soldiers.

Henry Cavill is currently filmingHighlanderfor the big screen: With this new movie, John Wick director Chad Stahelski aims to breathe new life into the 40-year-old and rather cult-classic action series. But some fans are likely looking forward to a completely different project with even more anticipation:Cavill’s Warhammer 40,000 TV series for Amazon.

The 43-year-old actor has been working on this for quite some time… and is expected to continue doing so for even longer. In early 2026,Kevin Roundtree, CEO of Games Workshop, hinted, that the adaptation of Warhammer 40K will take a few more years.

But Henry Cavill’s fans aren’t letting that deter them, as a recent encounter in the Polish city of Łódź shows. Highlander is currently being filmed there, and the owner of a local specialty shop for Warhammer 40,000 miniatures took the opportunity to give the actor who plays the immortal swordsman Connor McLeoda gift.

InWarhammer 40K subreddita photo of the handover went viral a few days ago, clearly showing Henry Cavill’s delight at the attention:

That’s because the fan, who identified himself on Reddit, didn’t just give him any set, but the one featuring his favorite soldiers. They go by the nameAdeptus Custodes, are part of theHorus Heresy series, have a MSRP of 206 euros, and are actually not that easy to come by in this form right now.

In short: I’m the owner of the local Roley store in Łódź, Poland, and I wanted Henry to take some nice Warhammer memories back with him from our city. We met on set at the cathedral during filming, and he was very happy with the gift. I hope he comes back to film more Warhammer footage here!

Apparently, Henry Cavill was even able to return the favor. According to theofficial Roley Instagram account , an Ultramarine helmet signed by the actor now takes pride of place in the store.

It is currently unknown when Henry Cavill’s Warhammer 40K TV series will premiere on Prime Video. Fans will just have to be patient.
