We’re taking advantage of these hot summer days to dedicate them to our love for what is arguably the most terrifying sci-fi universe of all time. Because in this bleak future, only war reigns.
If he could, even the Emperor himself would probably be happily tapping his little feet on his golden throne this week. Because: GlobalESportNews is celebrating Warhammer 40,000. For one week—from July 13 to 19, 2026—we’ll be devoting plenty of attention every day to the dark, gruesome, and fascinating universe of the Space Marines, Eldar, and Chaos Gods. After all, there’s plenty to talk about!
For years now, the quality of new Warhammer 40k games has continued to improve. Even mid-sized productions like Mechanicus 2 or the upcoming Chaos Gate: Deathwatch have fans circling the release dates in red on their calendars, while Space Marine 2 continues to attract five-figure player counts daily—via Steam alone—even years after its release. And on the horizon, strategy giants like Dawn of War 4 and Total War: Warhammer 40,000 are looming. It’s a fantastic time to be a Warhammer 40k fan!
But of course, the war against Chaos rages on beyond video games as well: The tabletop game is currently ushering in its 11th edition with Armageddon, and in the books, after more than 60 novels, we’re finally exploring the world after the Horus Heresy. And then there’s Henry Cavill, who’s still working on his big 40k TV series.
For our theme week, we’re therefore breaking all boundaries with a single, simple mission: to bring you cool Warhammer 40,000 content so that the wait for all these major projects goes by a little faster.
What You Can Look Forward To
We’ve been hard at work in the forges of Mars: From July 13 to 19, you can expect at least three new pieces of content from the world of Warhammer 40,000 every day. We can already give you a sneak peek at some of them:

- Our Loyalists Phil, Dimi, and Denninger have been digging for weeksdeep into the lore of 40,000and have brought back some gripping backstories—about flesh-eating alien maggots hiding among us, about the lost Space Marine legions, the forerunners of modern Space Marines, and so much more.
