The developers of Riot have finally had their say. The ranked mode of VALORANT is apparently in the starting blocks.
Since June 2, 2020 you can play Riot Games VALORANT in the full version. The competitive ranked mode, which was already known from the beta phase, was not introduced until now. But this should finally change now.
VALORANT Ranked mode is coming
Game Director Joe Ziegler commented on 15 June 2020 on what is probably the most frequently asked question about the game.
Hey everyone, It's been hectic, so I haven't had a lot of time to post. To answer the biggest question: rated (competitive mode) will likely be out some time next week. We're spending this week putting together that release and making sure it is good. =)

According to Joe Ziegler, the ranked mode will be implemented in the game during the next week (June 22nd – June 28th, 2020).
The mode will be tested extensively this week, so that problems can be ruled out after the introduction.
