The remaster for Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy will not only be released for Playstation 5, but also for PC – on Steam as well as on the Epic Store.
Grab raiders and those who would like to be, watch out: Uncharted 4 and spin-off Lost Legacy are getting a remaster. This will not only be released for the Playstation 5, but also for the PC! This is excellent news, as all previous adventures and protagonist Nathan Drake have been released exclusively for Sony consoles.
Uncharted is coming to PC – here’s what you need to know
What’s in the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection? The remaster, which will be released for PS5 as well as PC, includes both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the standalone spin-off Lost Legacy. There are currently no exact details on the graphical or gameplay improvements, so fans will have to wait a little longer in this regard.
In Uncharted 4, Nathan Drake faces his final adventure (for now) as he sets out to track down Captain Avery’s treasure in the jungles of Madagascar. Lost Legacy again revolves around Nate’s best enemy Chloe Frazer and the reformed mercenary Nadine Ross, who are trying to find the golden tusk of Ganesh in India.
When will Uncharted be released for the PC? The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is supposed to be released in early 2022 – but the PS5 version is explicitly mentioned here. The PC release, however, is to follow “shortly thereafter” – so hopefully fans won’t have to wait too long. There are currently no exact release dates.
By the way, the developer studio Iron Galaxy is responsible for the PC version of the Legacy of Thieves Collection, who have already been responsible for numerous games on other platforms in the past, including the PC. For example, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy or the VR version of Skyrim.
On which platforms is Uncharted available for PC? The Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available for purchase on PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store – as the first trailer for the remaster quite officially confirms:
What about the rest of the Uncharted games? That Uncharted 4 will be ported to PC is an open secret – back in May 2021, Sony leaked that there were plans for a PC adaptation of A Thief’s End when the game’s logo was spied at a presentation.
However, it remains to be seen what the status of the first three Uncharted games will be: So far it has neither been confirmed nor denied that parts 1-3 could also be converted for the PC. So fans can only continue to be patient and hope.
