The most exciting and important Halloween events in Games 2022

Halloween is just around the corner and in many games there are again suitable modes and skins. We show you the best Halloween Events 2022.

Dear friends, as you surely know, October is all about a particularly spooky event: No, not Oktoberfest – we”re talking about Halloween, of course!

Like every year, many games organise scary Halloween events that want to lure you with special game modes and suitable rewards. As in previous years, we have picked out the most important events for you and tell you what you can expect and what you can win.

Apex Legends

EA”s Battle Royale hit Apex Legends is also launching its popular Halloween event Fright or Flight in 2022. For a whole four weeks, there will be various game modes, including the very popular Shadow Royale. After dying, players return as shadows and can take revenge on their enemies. In addition, special Halloween skins await you in the shop, which can only be purchased during the event.

Dead by Daylight

If a Halloween event can”t be missing from a game, then of course it”s Dead by Daylight – after all, you can even play Michael Myers from the horror film series of the same name here. This year, a special game mode awaits you in which you have to collect void energy and deposit it in a vortex in order to receive rewards.

Among other things, there are clothes with skeleton prints for the survivors and Halloween candy weapons for the killers. There are also plenty of limited edition outfits in the shop.

Fortnite

The Fortnitemares Halloween event will also return in 2022. There is no solid info yet, but Fortnite leaker Hypex has already shared on Twitter (first details)

So there is supposed to be a new boss that can summon servants, drop a new mythical weapon as well as a pumpkin rocket launcher. As soon as we know more, we”ll add it to this post.

GTA Online

Judgement Day comes to Los Santos in a month-long Halloween event.

GTA Online offers a new game mode for Halloween: In Judgement Day, a team of survivors must flee from a group of hunters and survive until dawn. The hunters are heavily armed, while the hunted must first collect equipment in the designated play area.

As a reward for participating in the event, 300,000 GTA dollars as well as various Halloween clothing items and collectibles await.

Guild Wars 2

The MMO Guild Wars 2 will have its Return of the Mad King event return again in 2022. In the online role-playing game, a special dungeon awaits you in which you can take on the mad king Thorn. You can also solve a special jumping puzzle, race roller beetles on the Mad King”s racetrack or take part in two special PvP games.

You can earn new armour skins, minis, guild decorations and more as a reward for participating in activities and completing challenges. A full list can be found on the GW2 Wiki.

Fittingly for Halloween, the Battle Royale PUBG is entering into a cooperation with Dead by Daylight, bringing a new game mode. A player takes on the role of the killer and has to hunt down three survivors who have to repair generators on the map – virtually just like in Dead by Daylight.

Rewards abound, you can unlock a total of 13 different skins inspired by characters from Dead by Daylight. The event also takes place in New State Mobile, a mobile offshoot from the PUBG makers.

Red Dead Online

In Red Dead Online there are three spooky game modes waiting for you:

• In All Hallow”s Call to Arms, you must protect outposts from undead enemies, animals gone wild and a ghost train.
• In Fear of the Dark, hunters take on supernaturally fast and powerful Night Stalkers.
• Dead of Night pits you against hordes of undead and three other player teams simultaneously.

Rewards, however, are only available in Halloween Pass 2, a kind of Battle Pass with a free and a premium variant.

Warframe

Warframe celebrates October every year with the event The Nights of Naberus. Here, players celebrate the ancient Orokin Festival of Death, which takes place on the infested Martian moon Deimos. You can collect so-called mother tokens and exchange them for seasonal rewards, which include offers from previous years as well as a few new exclusive items.
