We received the last update on The Lord of the Rings: Gollum in the summer. So it’s long since time again for some new information on the fantasy adventure. According to developer Daedalic, these will be revealed in a few days during the Game Awards.

In The Lord of the Rings: Gollum we experience the epic story of the One Ring from the perspective of the antagonist Gollum. Hardly any creature on the fantastic continent of Middle-earth has had to endure as much suffering in its long life as this creature. But this little creature’s will to survive is strong – and his desire for the Ring even stronger.

Lurking in the shadows and hidden from the gaze of his enemies, Gollum prefers to avoid combat. Instead, the devious creature relies on his agility and senses. However, if a fight is unavoidable, he creatively disposes of his enemies or assassinates them without batting an eyelid.

The latest footage of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum comes from this summer. Before that, a short teaser was seen during the Future Games Show in spring. On 10 December, new material will finally be revealed during the Game Awards. In preparation for this event, host and creator Geoff Keighley released a new episode of The Games Awards Podcast.

This retelling of the world-famous fantasy epic is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch at an as yet unconfirmed date next year.
