At first glance,

The Day Before looks like a mixture of the PlayStation hit The Last of Us and Ubisoft’s online shooter The Division. Once again, you are thrown into a post-apocalyptic world and have to fight more or less constantly for your survival.

The reason for your premature demise could either be a zombie (the PvE aspect) or another player (PvP). Either way, you have to aim well and pull the trigger quickly, otherwise you will perish. But the weather could also be your undoing.

The weather is also said to affect the gameplay. Most of the game is to be spent in the large city, where you can quickly escape into the protective interior of a building. But the surrounding countryside should also be explorable, i.e. farms, forests and abandoned settlements. And when the weather changes there, even the gameplay is supposed to change. In heavy snowfall, for example, you can sneak up on enemies better because your steps are muffled.
