After a long break, Fntastic returned yesterday with a new gameplay trailer for The Day Before. At the same time, they announced the start of Early Access.

The survival MMO The Day Before caused some controversy at the beginning of the year. In addition to the constant release delays, the alleged legal dispute over the game’s name also caused frustration within the community.
Now there is finally another sign of life from the game and its developer Fntastic. The latter released a new gameplay preview trailer yesterday

After a pandemic has almost completely wiped out humanity, your self-created character is rescued by the members of the Woodbury Colony  This safe spot serves as your base camp, from where you can set off to search for supplies in the surrounding towns. However, you should head there well equipped, as zombies and enemy players can be lurking around every corner.
The Day Before wants to excel in shooter gameplay in particular. That’s why reloading, modification options and shooting are designed as realistically as possible.

Whoever brings good loot back to Woodbury will be rewarded with the local currency which you can use to buy new equipment items. You can also afford new food to satisfy your needs on the road.
In addition to the colony, there will be another retreat in the form of a Ranch for you. You can furnish and decorate this according to your own wishes.

At the end of the overview trailer, am announces that The Day Before will go into Steam Early Access on December 7  It is not yet known when Xbox and PlayStation gamers will be able to enter the post-apocalypse.
