Yesterday evening, indie publisher Annapurna Interactive held a (Showcase) about their latest titles. Cat lovers should be particularly happy about one announcement: the indie hit Stray will be released for the Xbox in August.

A big announcement sneaks up on velvet paws! BlueTwelve Studio’s indie hit Stray has been thrilling us on PC and PlayStation since July last year. On 10 August, Xbox gamers will also be able to explore a city dominated by robots through the red tabby cat.

Publisher Annapurna Interactive is raising awareness of the upcoming release with a new trailer that cuddly captures the essence of every cat.

As early as May the release on the Microsoft family of consoles had been announced.

At the beginning of Stray, our red-tiger protagonist is separated from her family. Now she must uncover the mysteries of a city inhabited by robots and escape from it to be reunited with her loved ones.

As she roams the city, she meets various friendly robots with heartwarming backstories. While doing chores for these friendly creatures, however, she encounters less friendly ones from which you have to escape in exciting puzzles.
