As every year, a big Steam Autumn Sale starts in 2022. All info on the duration and promotions, as well as the best deals can be found here

Autumn is here! Completely unexpectedly, the season of wet leaves, rainy driveways, umbrellas, wellies – and if you”re lucky, the sun will come out often enough for you to marvel at the reddish colours of the woods – begins again, a mere 12 months after last autumn. Don”t mind? Well, pull down the blinds and turn on your PC, because in the Steam Autumn Sale 2022 there are once again plenty of reduced games to help you pass the time until Christmas.

Unlike in previous years, this time we already knew quite a lot about the current Autumn Sale from Valve themselves. For example, that Cyberpunk 2077, Stray, V Rising, Hades and other games are guaranteed to be discounted. See more in Valve”s official Steam Fall Sale trailer:

But before you fill up your shopping cart, you”ll want all the framework info on duration, promotions, offers and more, so let”s dive in and answer all the important questions about the Steam Autumn Sale.

Start time: When does the Steam Autumn Sale 2022 begin?

The Steam Autumn Sale began promptly at 7pm on 22 November 2022. For a short time, the new offers were not yet displayed, but everything should be working by now.

How long does the Steam Autumn Sale 2022 last?

The Autumn Sale lasts exactly one week. On 29 November 2022, the gates will also close at 7pm. You have until then to weigh up your purchase decisions.

Will there be another promotion?

Just like every year, the annual Steam Awards are coming up in 2022. And you can vote for them during the Autumn Sale! The best games will be chosen in the following categories:

  • Game of the Year
  • VR Game of the Year
  • New: Best Game on the Move
  • Work of Love
  • Better with Friends
  • Most Innovative Gameplay
  • Excellent game with deep storyline
  • Best game you suck at (not meant personally)
  • Excellent visual style
  • Best soundtrack
  • Lean back and relax

If you participate diligently, you can earn a Steam badge and level it up to level 11

What games are on offer this time?

As usual, thousands of titles are discounted again. But we have already picked out a few highlights for you:

  • (Cyberpunk 2077): The role-playing game by CD Projekt Red is even more worthwhile with the big updates of the past months. If you finally want to explore the futuristic Night City, you can now get the game at half price. (50 percent off, 30 euros)

  • (Stray): You want a cyberpunk scenario but a fluffy main character? Then explore a mysterious city full of robots as a cat instead. Stray is only a few months old and therefore only slightly reduced. (20 percent off, 22 euros)

  • (Red Dead Redemption 2): The western epic with a huge open world can keep you busy for a very long time and tells a great story. If you can relate to the scenario, you will hardly find any reasons not to pick this up. (67 percent off, 20 euros)

  • (Chivalry 2): What would Battlefield look like in the Middle Ages? Chivalry 2 tries to answer this question and sends teams of heavily armed knights and archers after each other. Just neatly reduced maybe worth a look. (50 percent reduced, 18 euros)

  • (Metro Exodus): For little money right now you can dive into one of the best single player shooters of the past years. Here, as Artyom, you explore a post-apocalyptic Russia infested with radiation and monsters. (67 percent off, 10 euros)

  • (Civilization 6): Global strategy at its best is available at a great price in the Steam Sale. In Civilization you lead your people from the Stone Age to the modern age. (90 percent off, 6 Euro)

  • (Cities Skylines): If you like shiny skyscrapers better than crooked half-timbered huts, then this great city-building simulation might be something for you. A bit older, but still one of the best building games. (70 percent off, 8 euros)

  • (It Takes Two): You like playing co-op? That”s actually enough of a reason to give It Takes Two a chance. Praised by critics and players alike, the game tells a touching and sometimes funny story. (60 percent off, 16 euros)

  • (Jedi Fallen Order): Lightsabers are cool and this action adventure is pretty good in other ways too. After Order 66, you are one of the last surviving Jedi students and must complete your training. (85 percent off, 6 Euro)
