On October 3, Critical Role will broadcast the first episode of its new major campaign. For the fourth time, the popular actors are getting together to play D&D and entertain millions of viewers. But the new campaign also does a lot of things differently. For the first time, Matt Mercer is not sitting behind the DM screen, but is making way for Brennan Lee Mulligan. There are also some changes on the players’ side.
The familiar faces are back, but now they are joined by Matt Mercer and many others. It’s the largest group yet, but this time not all cast members are playing at the same time. So a new era is dawning for the world’s most successful D&D group.
