In March of this year, Syberia: The World Before was released for the PC. Now the cross-generational point-and-click adventure is available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. To coincide with the release of the console edition, Microids is releasing a 20 Years Limited Edition.

Since March of this year, Syberia: The World Before has been taking us into a story told over decades. While the well-known protagonist Kate Walker ekes out her existence in a salt mine in the middle of the taiga in 2004, the 17-year-old Dana Roze lives in the Vaghen of 1937. How the fates of the two women are intertwined is revealed in the course of the game.

The positive reviews the adventure game has received so far show that this story knows how to enchant. On Metacritic as well as on Steam, the fans were mostly enthusiastic.

But that’s not enough good news. Microids announced that the Syberia series is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. As part of this, the Syberia: The World Before 20 Years Limited Edition will be released for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. In addition to the game, this includes a media book celebrating 20 years of Syberia.

You can find more info about the game in our (Overview).
