Life Sims in the style of Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley appear seemingly every week – but Cattails stands out from the crowd. Here you will become part of an adorable cat community.

You’ll hunt prey, harvest herbs, and defend your new home from intruders. But that’s not all – you can build a thriving city, make friends, fall in love, and even raise a litter of kittens!

Slay the Princess begins as follows: You are on a forest path and you have the task of killing an evil princess in a hut at the end of the path. If you fail to do so, the world will end. The princess will do everything to stop you.

Actually, I’m not a big fan of story games, much less visual novels. But Slay the Princess won me over with its cool premise and then turned out to be a fantastic storytelling masterpiece full of mindfuck moments. If you like The Stanley Parable or Disco Elysium, you definitely need to take a look!
