Indie developer ConcernedApe has revealed new info on both its new project Haunted Chocolatier and its previously released title Stardew Valley.

Let’s start with the tried and true first. Back in July, ConcernedApe announced the 1.6 update for Stardew Valley. However, it only provided a small glimpse of the upcoming content. But last week the developer sent out a tweet with an overview graphic in which he revealed further contents of the update. In addition to the already announced dialogues, secrets and items, you can look forward to the following content:

  • One big festival and two mini-festivals
  • New late-game content geared towards skills
  • Winter outfits for the villagers
  • Multiplayer support for eight game ends on PC
  • Joja alternatives for end-game quests

By the way, a Stardew Valley (Cookbook) is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2024, containing recipes for various dishes from the game.

News about Haunted Chocolatier

But work on Haunted Chocolatier is not standing still either. So ConcernedApe revealed yesterday to celebrate its 1 million followers on Twitter new screenshots to the upcoming title.
The four images show a spooky library with a skeleton, the interiors of a mysterious-looking house, a fight against a monster in a green meadow and a nighttime fountain in the city centre with footprints around it.
