Last year we got a glimpse of the first teaser for Sonic Frontiers. But since then, SEGA has yet to comment on the latest game about the blue hedgehog. In a livestream, the social media team from Sega North America talked about the title, among other things, but remained rather vague.

He is already 30 years old and can still gather a large fan community hitner. Sonic the Hedgehog still inspires many fans all over the world, who are naturally very interested in finding out more about his latest game. Probably the most important question fans have is about the release date. In a livestream, social media manager Katie Chrzanowski commented on this and explained that Sonic Frontiers is still scheduled for release in late autumn (“Around the Holidays”) for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch. However, new information on the game is to follow “soon”.

During the Game Awards last year, SEGA officially announced Sonic Frontiers with a trailer. The studio had already revealed a teaser to mark the blue hedgehog’s 30th birthday, but without hinting at a name. SEGA’s original plan was to release the new game during the anniversary year. But for quality assurance reasons, they had decided against the early release.

In any case, a special collection of remastered games featuring Sonic is scheduled for release this summer. We tell you more about Sonic Origins.
