It’s hard to believe, but ten years have passed since the release of Slender: The Arrival. To celebrate the big anniversary, Blue Isle Studios is planning a big update that won’t bring a major graphics upgrade. New content is also to be included.

Remember Slender Man? The snow-white, gaunt guy in a suit? The nightmarish figure who used to give us a giant fright as we searched the woods for eight notes? (Wow, describing it like that today almost makes it sound silly).
Anyway, in 2013 Blue Isle Studios released a spin-off game called Slender: The Arrival. This survival horror game embedded the gameplay into a storyline in which we investigate the disappearance of the former owner of our newly acquired house. Among other things, we trudged through a dark forest and an abandoned factory site to get answers to our many questions as we drifted deeper and deeper into the world of a nightmarish legend.

For the 10th anniversary of Slender: The Arrival, Blue Isle Studios is planning a spooky birthday party. In October  there will be a big update, which will give the graphics of the horror game a general overhaul with the Unreal Engine 5.2  On the (official website) the studio shows some screenshots that make the difference between then and now more than clear.
Those who want to try out the horror fun already can download the game for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and Mobile.

S: Lost Chapters

Of course, this graphics update isn’t the end of the story. Slender Man is getting a revival, of course – in the form of (S: Lost Chapters). Blue Isle Studios isn’t revealing too much about the game, but we’re promised a brand new kind of horror with new survival mechanics that will let us explore old familiar and new locations. Which, in turn, we’ll hold various, gruesome secrets in store for us.

And of course, as befits a great revival party, good old Slendy isn’t alone on the mat. He’s also invited a few friends who want to give us a few spooky-beautiful moments. Great.
The latest story in the Slender mythos looks set to appear exclusively on (Steam
