Old Detroit is full of criminal energy. As a hybrid of man and machine, you don’t like that at all, because your destiny is to ensure law and order. With your arsenal of firearms and your cybernetic abilities, you’re putting the fear of God into the scum.

But you don’t just shoot to kill, you scour the darkest alleys of the city for evidence, conduct interrogations and come across familiar faces from the movie franchise. Rogue City is set between Robocop 2 and 3.

While there is not much innovation in the shooter, it does hit the nostalgia pedal with full force. This is particularly evident in the Steam reviews, which overall come to a strong 88 percent. In our test, we were much more critical at the time!

Those who were skeptical but curious about RoboCop now have the opportunity to form their own opinion for little money. The timing of the discount couldn’t be better either, as a sequel in the form of a standalone expansion has just been announced. RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business will be released before the end of this year.
