The new trailer of Pikmin 4 shows us a long-awaited feature and new gameplay mechanics. We will soon be able to try these out in the upcoming demo. Those who want to bridge the wait until the official release can also try out the HD editions of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2.
Flowery fun, meets cutely designed puzzles and exciting boss fights. The new trailer of Pikmin 4 gives us a comprehensive insight into the gameplay of the real-time strategy game.
The most popular feature is probably the night exploration, which becomes possible for the first time with the latest part of the series.
In addition, the trailer introduced three types of Pikmin. While the red Pikmin like to play with fire, the ice Pikmin provide frosty cold. Last but not least, the luminescent Pikmin provides a clear view.
The new community favourite, however, seems to be the strong dog Otachi. The cute four-legged friend can not only clear the way, he can also find lost Pikmin.
Pikmin 4 will be released on 21 July for the Nintendo Switch. The accompanying demo will be available from 29 June The HD editions of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 are available now in the Nintendo eShop.
