The great role-playing game, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, is getting three new DLCs in its second Season. They bring companions, stories and a class.

If you enjoy classic role-playing games, love good stories and are not afraid of a complex rule system and pages and pages of unvoiced text, then there is currently no way around Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

The role-playing game is one of the best of recent times and was recently given an even more rounded package with the Enhanced Edition. But that”s not the end of Wrath of the Righteous! Although originally only a Season Pass with three DLCs was announced, even more add-ons are now to come. Season 2 contains three more expansions, the contents of which have now been revealed.

The Season Pass 2 is on sale as of today, 25 October 2022. However, it is still unknown when the first DLC will be released. Originally, there was talk of autumn 2022. You can also find the most important information in the trailer:

These three DLCs are in Season 2

There were already three DLCs for the first Season of Wrath of the Righteous, which were also available for sale individually. However, none of the expansions were able to capture the hearts of fans. We tried both Inevitable Immensity and Through the Ashes and were also a little disappointed. Among other things, because the main game belongs to the role-playing world class!

These three as yet unnamed DLCs are supposed to do better next year. Excitingly, one of them directly continues Through the Ashes.

The first DLC

(The new class introduces a warrior who draws on animalistic powers.)
(The new class introduces a warrior who draws on animalistic powers.)

This DLC is the first ever to add a new companion to your Hero Party. So to benefit from it, you will most likely have to start a new game. At the same time, the DLC introduces a new class. This is the Shifter. Shifters are a warrior variant of druids who primarily focus on shapeshifting.

They take on the form of wild animals in order to literally tear enemies apart in close combat. The new companion could be such a shifter, but that is only a guess. The expansion also brings a new area called Old Sarkoris. A land once inhabited by fierce warriors and witches that the World Wound has devastated.

The second DLC

(The story of your comparatively feeble heroes from Through the Ashes continues soon.)

The sixth DLC in total introduces a new campaign. This campaign continues the events from the DLC Through the Ashes. Once again, you control a largely self-created group of adventurers who, however, do not have any legendary powers. This time it”s not about survival in ruined Kenabres, but about the fight against a demon king and his icy henchmen.

The adventure takes place at a point in the Wrath of the Righteous campaign where your commander or commanderess is presumed missing. If you have not played Through the Ashes, you can also create a completely new party for the DLC. Once you have completed the DLC, you will unlock a new dungeon in the main game.

The third DLC

This DLC allows you to return to Kenabres during the main story and see a different side of the city. Actually, this settlement is destroyed by demons right at the beginning. However, the DLC shows Kenabres under construction and thus in more peaceful times.

In honour of your legendary character, a festival is held in the city, which you are of course allowed to attend. It”s all about having a good time, interacting with companions and perhaps having a romantic adventure. It all sounds very peaceful, but war still threatens the city and who knows what other dangers lurk in Kenabres.

What do you think of these new additions? Are they exactly what you hoped for or are you still not convinced? Let us know in the comments! We”d also like to know if you had fun with the last Season Pass for Wrath of the Righteous.
