With a trailer Square Enix announces the first expansion for the loot shooter Outriders. Worldslayer is scheduled for release on 30 June 2022 and features a new campaign. As in the main game, you can choose one of four classes with different abilities and engage in brutal battles against monsters and humans. You can experience all the content alone or in co-op with up to two other players.

In the video, you can see the Altered Ireshkigal, who is a new opponent for the Outriders. Like you, she was given supernatural powers through contact with an actually deadly anomaly and is one of the first altered humans. In addition to the new campaign, which will focus more on the history of the alien planet Enoch, the expansion also promises new weapons and equipment, crisper difficulty levels and additional end-game content.

For those who barely know Outriders, or don’t know it at all, check out our review of the sci-fi shooter. Find out which hurdles the game had to overcome for release and how successful it was in the video on the subject.
