Nintendo has announced three more additions to the Game Boy library on the Switch.
On October 27, 2026, the action game Avenging Spirit (1992, Jaleco), the puzzle adventure Mole Mania (1997, Nintendo EAD & PAX Softnica), and the pinball title Pinball: Revenge of the ‘Gator (1990, HAL Laboratory).
To play the Game Boy classics on your console, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online membership. The Expansion Pack is not required.
Revenge as a Restless Spirit: Here’s What Awaits You in Avenging Spirit
In Avenging Spirit, the protagonist is shot by a ruthless criminal syndicate while out for a walk with his girlfriend—the daughter of a renowned researcher. The gang wants to harness spirit energy for sinister purposes and kidnaps the girl to force her father to cooperate.
With this in mind, you return as a restless spirit to free your girlfriend from the clutches of her kidnappers and finally find eternal peace.
Underground Puzzle Fun and Pinball Action: Mole Mania and Revenge of the ‘Gator
Meanwhile, in Mole Mania, you team up with Muddy the mole to put a stop to the nasty farmer Jinbe. To do this, you solve puzzles by pushing, pulling, or flinging black balls to defeat or trap enemies. Blast open strategic exits, dig through soft soil, and carve your way underground to the next level. There’s also a Versus mode where two players can compete against each other.
In Revenge of the ‘Gator, you must use the pinball flippers to keep the falling ball in play, score points by hitting targets, and guide the ball precisely through narrow passages. There are four main sections and three bonus stages, each with its own unique challenges to complete. A two-player mode is also included.
