Leaker Samus Hunter talks about information on a possible Nintendo Direct in September. Official confirmations are lacking despite several hints.

Since June, Nintendo fans have been waiting for a new presentation about upcoming games. On Tuesday, leaker and insider “Samus Hunter” spoke out on Twitter. According to him, Nintendo may hold another Nintendo Direct in September or early October.

Samus Hunter spoke at length about the possibility of a Nintendo Direct in September and shared some of the main reasons why it might happen. “Several announcements were planned for third-party titles this month, as well as release dates,” the tweet read. Samus Hunter added: “Some of which I had listed earlier this month. ”

Titles like Triangle Strategy have several announcements planned, according to Samus Hunter, and could give new products Metroid Dread and the upcoming Switch OLED a final marketing push. Aside from the speculation of a Nintendo Direct, Samus Hunter also expects more news on games like Pokémon Radiant Diamond and Shining Pearl, as well as Mario Golf, Mario Party, Advance Wars and Animal Crossing.

While most of these titles are merely up for speculation, the chances seem pretty good that we’ll get a Nintendo Direct and additional news on some of these games in late September or October.
