The new week is once again full of exciting releases on Steam. Especially exciting this time is the spin-off of a great strategy series.

Highlight of the week: Spellforce: Conquest of Eo

(Genre: Strategy – Developer: Owned by Gravity – Release: February 3, 2023 (get the game on Steam)

You know the Spellforce series for its unique mix of real-time strategy and role-playing. The latest spin-off Spellforce: Conquest of Eo also relies on an exciting genre mix – but instead of real-time strategy, 4X strategy and turn-based battles are combined with role-playing elements here.

In the procedurally generated story campaign, you are a student of magic whose master has been kidnapped by the coven of mages. You take on his legacy, continuously expand your domain, research dozens of spells and recruit over 100 different units for your army. However, a troop can only consist of up to five units and one hero at a time, so the battles remain quite clear.
