The releases of the week are manageable at the end of March 2022, but there are still a few pretty cool insider tips.

Thrilling releases aren’t raining from the skies right now – on Steam or anywhere else, but hey: Instead, GTA Online now has a controversial paid subscription model on consoles – and there’s a new Halo series that’s off to a tamer start than the Millennium Falcon after an Imperial sabotage. You’d rather have good news? Good thing you’re here, because we’ve done a little digging.

While there are no huge new blockbusters coming out this week, there are some exciting games across various genres. For example, Death Stranding gets its big director’s cut on PC too, there’s a new multiplayer shooter coming out and of course (Cute Cats 2). Let’s take a look at this week’s releases.

Highlight of the week: Weird West

(Genre: Action Role-Playing Game – Platform: PC, PS4, Xbox One – Developer: Wolfeye Studios – Release Date: March 31, 2022)

People who worked on Prey and Dishonored are working on Weird West – and it shows. For one thing, the game relies on a completely unconsumed scenario: it combines the Wild West, i.e. cowboys, saloons, dusty wooden towns, gunslingers, with all kinds of fantasy hauntings. Moreover, the game is much more than just an action role-playing game in Diablo style.

As in Prey and Dishonored, you decide for yourself how you interact with what in the environment. Do you empty the pockets of defenceless snobs at night? Do you sneak across rooftops and plan assassinations? Do you lumber out of cover with revolvers or use magic skills to give enemies hell for poisoning the water hole?

Weird West could be a very, very unique game. You can check it out for yourself from 31 March 2022. Or here:
