During a Digital Showcase, publisher Annapurna Interactive has released a new Steam trailer for the survival game The Lost Wild. The title is based on the Unreal Engine and comes from the developer Great Ape Games.

The new trailer is also strongly reminiscent of the Jurassic Park films, there are abandoned facilities and huge forests to be seen – and of course dinosaurs. The game is said to deliver an “immersive and cinematic” experience in the process, reminiscent of titles like Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Trespasser, and Alien: Isolation.

The animations of the dinosaurs are convincing, the same goes for the depiction of nature and the graphics overall. However, there will be no battles with the dinos; at most, you can keep them at bay for a short time or chase them away, for example with flare pistols.

The Lost Wild is scheduled for release at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025, but there is no specific release date yet.
