Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! Okay, Midnight Ghost Hunt may not have the official Ghostbusters licence, but it could otherwise pass as an official game to the brand. The new trailer sets the mood with gameplay scenes for the Eary Access release on Steam in spring 2022 and promises a multiplayer hide-and-seek game with a focus on creativity, teamwork and chaotic action.

The principle is simple: four ghost hunters compete against four ghosts, with both factions taking completely different approaches: The humans rely on high-tech gadgets such as radar devices, spectral cannons & Co. or resort to more brutal means such as shotgun or sledgehammer. The ghosts, on the other hand, are sneaky and can hide in everyday objects, move objects telekinetically or briefly become invisible. If the hunters do not succeed in catching all the opponents by midnight, the tables are turned: the ghosts acquire deadly superpowers and go after their hunters.

The spring launch will include 7 maps, 10 weapons and 10 perks each for ghosts and humans as well as 40 skins. The game rules can also be adapted via an editor and those who prefer to play alone can add bots.
