In addition to the release date, the company announces that the game is the most ambitious flight simulator ever developed

Flight Simulator 2024was announced last yearAfter a good year of silence, Microsoft is now releasing new footage of the simulation.

You can find the trailer here:

In addition, the company also announced a release date.According to this, Flight Simulator 2024 will be released on November 19 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.

Focus is on different careers

The main focus of the announced simulation is on the different careers that players can pursue. In these, players can take part in air races, rescue casualties from the air or fly in a hot air balloon

The trailer depicts these and many more careers – and in a high level of graphic detail. On the official websitethe announcement reads:

It is the most ambitious flight simulator for gamers ever developed. It features the largest, most diverse and detailed fleet of aircraft, the most complete representation of airports and air traffic, and the most visually stunning rendition of Earth ever created.

However, what system requirements players need to have in order to play the new simulator, there is no information on this yet.Especially as not all fans were enthusiastic, when the game was announced.

In the past, Microsoft had stated that the 2020 Flight Simulator, the predecessor to 2024, would be supplied with content for many years to come. Accordingly, some fans felt cheated

According to an FAQ pagehowever, it should be possible to use content from the predecessor in the new simulation – apart from a few unspecified exceptions. In addition, the 2020 part will continue to be supplied with further updates

It remains to be seen whether Microsoft will manage to provide both parts with new content equally or whether the company will then mainly focus on the new part, which will be launched in November.
