After almost exactly one year in Early Access, the medieval genre mix is finally ready for the harvest. The test shows whether Medieval Dynasty has really matured well in this time.

Eighteen months ago, my wife ran away into the forest. I’ll never forget that. When the Austrian publisher Toplitz visited the editorial office in February 2020 (that was still possible back then) and I was allowed to play Medieval Dynasty for the first time, my esteemed wife simply ran into the wilderness at the seemingly first opportunity and was never seen again.

The memory of this makes two things clear to me.

  • I still have a lot of work to do on my seduction skills.
  • I have been involved with Medieval Dynasty for quite a long time!

Practically from the very first second we at Global Esport News have been following this medieval game that looks like Kingdom Come: Deliverance but is somehow quite different. After the incident with the dear wife, it took another half a year until Medieval Dynasty started in Early Access. At that time, the problem was that I couldn’t even get a woman to smile at me. But that wasn’t because of my charm, of course, but because of the flirting mechanics, which were still very cumbersome at that time. Really!

So the developers have been busy and have enlarged and optimised Medieval Dynasty on all fronts. It’s not just the interaction with the opposite sex that’s different now. There’s also so much more to do!
