There’s something happening at Lost Ark: In April and May, two new classes will be added to the free-to-play action role-playing game, and a second T3 area, Southern, will open its doors. The recently published roadmap also promises improved co-op options, new rewards, skins and events, and much more.

The new class in April is the Lancer, which becomes a true DPS monster with its long range and two combat stances, but is still easy to master. In May, the Destroyer follows directly, wielding a large two-handed hammer and using it to perform gravity-defying sweeping blows.

Our survey on the changes showed that many of you would have been more pleased with the Arcena, a new mage class, instead of the two melee fighters. Nevertheless, the two updates should bring a breath of fresh air into the Free2Play everyday life and at least shorten the waiting time for the Arcena.

The April update including the lance bearer will be released on 21 April 2022.
