April Fools’ Day pranks are traditionally a dime a dozen and while some are just little winks, others really put some effort into them. This is also the case with Smilegate, the developers of Lost Ark, who want to pull the wool over our eyes this year with an invented VR mode.
The trailer for the “new” game mode is so well and convincingly made that we almost wish the VR mode was a real announcement so that we could really experience the epic battles and dungeons from the first-person perspective. By the way: Last year, Smilegate came around the corner with another game mode idea for the first of April. Back then, Lost Ark turned into a brawling game that Tekken would have been proud of.
