Koira is a hand-drawn adventure game from Belgian developer studio Tolima. It will be published by none other than DON’T NOD, the studio behind titles such as Life is Strange and Tell Me Why.

In the 2D adventure Koira, we accompany a forest spirit and a little dog on a musical journey through a forest. But things are anything but peaceful in this thicket, so the mismatched pair must use their complementary skills to get themselves out of dangerous situations and help other forest creatures.

As the Reveal trailer already shows, we will probably have to reach for the handkerchiefs when it comes to Koira. This is nothing new for fans of the publisher DON’T NOD. After all, we are already used to the French studio’s tear-jerker factor.
The heavy use of music and hand-drawn graphics should make it even harder to resist the emotional impact of this indie title.

We’ll get more details over the course of the next 12 months, as Koira isn’t scheduled for release until 2025. On Steam you can at least make a note of the title.
