Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will get at least three expansions. We have all the known info on the planned add-ons in an overview.

These DLCs will continue Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 after its release. The developers’ roadmap already promises three add-ons that will expand the medieval sandbox in the future. We have summarized all known information about the DLCs for you:

  • May 15, 2025: Brushes with Death
  • September 9, 2025: Legacy of the Forge
  • November 11, 2025: Mysteria Ecclesiae
  • Bonus: Small DLCs
  • Free: Hairstyles, Horse Racing & Hardcore Mode
  • How much do the DLCs cost? Expansion Pass and prices

DLC 1: Encounters with Death

  • Release: May 15, 2025
  • Price: $6, included in the Expansion Pass
  • Content: Heinrich helps a mysterious artist named Voyta complete his most important painting.

What is the DLC about? The first DLC has already been released and brings with it a completely new quest series that spans both game worlds. The mysterious painter carries a painted skull with him and hides a dark past. As a new feature, you can paint your shield with over a hundred different designs and color combinations. We’ve tested the add-on and we’re thrilled!

DLC 2: Legacy of the Forge

  • Release: September 9, 2025
  • Price: $14, included in the Expansion Pass
  • Content: Heinrich restores the forge in Kuttenberg and becomes a master blacksmith.

What is the DLC about? This expansion allows Heinrich to delve deep into his roots and explore the past of his foster father Martin. You can rebuild a once-famous forge, perfect your blacksmithing skills, craft new weapons yourself, and hire people to forge armor for you.

If you’re unsure whether the Blacksmith DLC is worth it for you, take a look at our review of Legacy of the Forge or carefully peek at our comprehensive walkthrough for the second DLC.

DLC 3: Mysteria Ecclesiae

  • Release: November 11, 2025
  • Price: Included in the Expansion Pass, individual price still unknown
  • Content: Heinrich explores the Sedletz monastery to stop a deadly disease.

What is the DLC about? The final story DLC for 2025 takes Heinrich back to a monastery – this time to Sedletz. As in the first part, complex intrigues and secrets await you there, which you must unravel. Heinrich must stop a mysterious plague that threatens to spread.

Mysteria Ecclesiae is an additional story that we can start upon our arrival in the Kuttenberg region. The monastery is separated from the rest of the open world by a loading screen. The scope is based on Legacy of the Forge and offers about 10 to 15 hours of gameplay.

Small DLCs

There are a few smaller DLCs for Kingdom Come 2. These are often not part of the Season Pass, but were either part of the Gold Edition or available for pre-order. However, you can now also purchase them individually:

  • The Lion’s Crest
    • Price: $5, not included in the Expansion Pass
    • Content: A small scavenger hunt leads Henry around the world in search of a complete knight’s set.
  • Gallant Huntsman’s Kit
    • Price: $3, included in the Gold Edition
    • Contents: A simple hunter’s outfit and crossbow for Heinrich.
  • Shields of Season Passing
    • Price: $3, included in the Expansion Pass.
    • Contents: Four new shields, beautifully painted and inspired by the four seasons.

Free DLCs

In addition to the paid DLCs, Warhorse Studios has already released several free features:

  • Hardcore Mode: An extremely difficult game mode with permadeath mechanics.
  • Horse Racing: Competitions on horseback with archery in the nomad camp in the Trosky region.
  • Barber: Heinrich can get new hairstyles and beards.

Expansion Pass and prices

The Expansion Pass costs $35 and includes all three story DLCs.
Brushes with Death (€6) and Legacy of the Forge (€14) are already available separately. To justify the €30 price tag of the Expansion Pass, Mysteria Ecclesiae would have to cost at least €10. Owners of the Gold Edition will receive the Expansion Pass automatically or can purchase it directly.
