After a long wait, Kerbal Space Program 2 is coming to Early Access! And fittingly, there’s a new gameplay trailer in which you can see what the Kerbals do best: Building accidents. Accordingly, you can see a whole lot of flying machines here, whose way back to the ground is not quite planned.

There’s also a look at the new editor, where you can assemble anything from rovers to planes to full-blown interstellar rockets, and make up for deficiencies with more boosters as usual.

The game was originally announced back in 2019. However, a few months after that, the developer was on the verge of going out of business. Work on the game continued nonetheless. The release date was finally announced in 2022. On 24 February, the time has finally come and the Early Access phase is to start. According to current plans, version 1.0 is to follow in 2024.
