AMD will hold a press conference soon to present new products – and you can watch it via stream

After Intel presented the new Battlemage graphics cards yesterday, gamers are waiting for the reactions from Nvidia and AMD.

Previously, CES 2025, which is taking place in January, was considered the most likely date. AMD has now officially confirmed this date.

In detail:

  • AMD will hold a press conference on January 6.
  • The focus will be on gaming, AI PCs, and products for companies.

AMD will be presenting new products the day before CES 2025 begins.

The press conference was announced by Jack Huynh, who is responsible for AMD’s Computing and Graphics division.

Huynh writes on X:

Join us at the AMD press event on Monday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. PT.

We’re excited to share the stage with some incredible guests of honor as we unveil the next generation of innovations in gaming, AI, PC, and advertising. Don’t you don’t want to miss this!

Even if Huynh doesn’t mention any specific products, AMD will in all likelihood announce the first AMD RX 8000 series graphics cards during the conference.

Good to know: AMD should leave the high-end segment to Nvidia. This would mean that the Radeon RX 7900 XTX would continue to be the most powerful graphics card in the portfolio.

In addition to graphics cards, AMD could also present Ryzen AI Max (Strix Halo) and Ryzen Pro for workstations.

You can watch the stream live on the AMD website on January 6.

Now it’s your turn. What do you expect from AMD’s press conference? Are you perhaps already planning your future setup with the new graphics cards or processors? Feel free to write us a comment.
