Midweek Madness is on! We have rummaged through hundreds of offers and picked out the best discounts for you.

  • It”s Steam sale day again (we used to call it Wednesday). And this week there”s a particularly diverse range of heavily discounted games, from co-op fun to building gems to fun action-packed thrillers.I”m sure there”s something for you in our 14 recommendations. Have fun browsing!

Highlight of the week: Tiny Tina”s Wonderlands

    • Genre & Release: Shooter – 23 June 2022.
    • Discount & Price: 40 percent off – 36 instead of 60 euros.
    • Offer valid until: 14 November 2022

Tiny Tina”s Wonderlands is something for the Borderlands fans and/or D&D friends among you. Here you will experience a virtual pen&paper campaign led by a rather crazy explosion fanatic. You can”t expect a cinematic story, but you can expect a lot of quirky characters, surprising twists and turns and a lot of black humour.

Wonderlands is especially fun to play in co-op, where all enemies scale with your own player level – even low-level characters can join in. You can also combine all classes wildly with each other, because Tina is rarely restricted by rulebooks.

There are also some justified criticisms of the game – for example for stupid enemy AI and cumbersome loot management. For 36 euros, however, you can confidently buy the game in the sale and get around 30 hours of great entertainment for it. You”d better keep your hands off the DLCs that aren”t reduced, they”re hardly worth it for 10 euros each.

More exciting offers of the week

We”ve got lots more discount recommendations for you from all genres.

  • (Dead Cells): This RogueVania is hard to master, but offers an incredibly addictive flow with its dynamic battles. Editorial director Dimi swears by the game. By the way, the DLCs are also currently on sale. (40 percent off until 14 November)

  • (Slay the Spire): Single player card game and roguelike in one. Excites even many who otherwise have nothing to do with the genres. One of the best rated games on Steam! (66 percent off until 14 November)

  • (Warhammer Vermintide 2): Was available for free on Steam last week, but in case you missed the discount, the co-op hit is heavily discounted again right now. (80 percent off until November 21)

    • (Bugsnax): You are what you eat – the treats you nibble on here become your own body parts with special abilities. You also catch creatures like in Pokemon. Very unusual action adventure. (60 percent off until November 15)

    • (For the King): Medieval role-playing game with a lot of strategy influence. Alone or in co-op, you”ll engage in turn-based combat, explore the randomly generated hex world and bring back order. (70 percent off until November 14)

    • (Metal: Hellsinger): You have metal instead of blood in your veins? At festivals you only sleep well when the bass makes your air mattress vibrate? Then this rhythm shooter is just your thing. (20 percent off until 14 November)

    • (Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning): New edition of the fantasy role-playing game that always takes place in the second row. There”s a lot of story and cool weapons in it. (67 percent off until November 14)

      • (Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One): The smartest detective in the world is still young and arrogant here – okay, he keeps the latter of course. Cracking puzzles and a personal story. (55 percent off until November 21)

      • (Katana Zero): Fancy some cyberpunk and sidestroller action? Here you shred your way through fluid pixel battles. (40 percent off until November 14)

      • (Beacon Pines): Cozy games are popular right now and here you get a great example, with lots of exploration and pretty graphics. Insider tip from Mary. (20 percent off until November 14).

      • (A Juggler”s Tale): Platformer in which you control a puppet on strings seeking freedom. (40 percent off until November 22)

        Great sale at GOG too

Is there something for you in this week”s Midweek Madness? Or maybe this time you”d rather grab the new PC releases of the week instead of lurking around for discounts?
