An underwater city builder is already a refreshingly new setting. And then your buildings aren’t made of glass and steel, but coral. You are a Thalassa, a protector of the seas, bringing dying reefs back to life.

The story was written by author Rhianna Pratchett, who has a long list of writing credits to her name: Heavenly Sword, Mirror’s Edge, Thief, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lost Words: Beyond the Page, and many more.

Factors such as water temperature and pH value influence your ecosystem in Life Below, where around 40 different animal species can thrive. Information and warnings from real marine biologists will be incorporated to make the scenarios credible and realistic. For example, when an oil spill approaches or mountains of trash pile up. If only we could solve these problems in the real world with just a few clicks.

A release date for Life Below is not yet known.
