Crimson Desert features the worst alarm clock ever—and you can even wear it on your head.
Are you one of those people who hits the snooze button three times in the morning and still oversleeps? Maybe you need the following hat from Crimson Desert in real life. The Herald of Six O’Clockhas not only a very melodious name for a hat, but also an unusual ability.
A rooster in a hat
Everyone knows about pulling a rabbit out of a hat, but a rooster? In the game, a rooster always jumps out of the Herald of Six O’Clockat 6 a.m. and crows at the top of its lungs.
Here’s what the hat and rooster look like:
You’ll find the Nightmare of All Late Riserswest of Delesyia Cityin the ruins of a fortress near the river. You can either enter from the top through the tower or use a tunnel on the river side.
There are a few enemies in the fortress’s catacombs, and you’ll find the hat behind a grate. However, it disappears into the ground when you light the lamp next to it.
The hat itself has no stats other than 2 Defense. But it makes up for that with its awesome passive skill, “Cock-a-doodle-doo!” Who wouldn’t want to be woken up by a crowing rooster?
By the way, in the game you can also use it toreally scare the NPCs. You can see the effect in the following clip. Good thing none of the guards reached for their weapons.

Great Attention to Detail
Crimson Desert is packed with funny details and content, some of which are simply there to let players have fun outside of the actual gameplay features.
For example, you can use protagonist Kliff’s sword to reflect sunlight so that you can roast apples and even meat.
Speaking of apples: This unassuming fruit, when combined with a tree trunk and a bridge, becomes anasty death trap for NPCs. However, they’re also constantly stealing the players’ food.
But things get particularly spectacular away from the Earth’s surface. With a little trick, players can fly all the way into space, where a fantastic view of the stars and distant galaxies awaits you.
