Defender of the Crown was a true graphical marvel in the 80s! For that reason alone, the medieval strategy game sold over a million copies. Today, it is considered a classic of gaming history. That’s why this former graphical masterpiece is now being re-released! A remaster titled The Legend Returns is set to launch in 2026, modernizing the legendary graphics. While it won’t be a graphical marvel by today’s standards, it will still look a whole lot sleeker than it did 40 years ago.
