Guerrilla and PlayStation presented a double pack of new information during this year’s The Game Awards. Firstly, they revealed the upcoming DLC for Horizon Forbidden West. On the other hand, they presented a new trailer for the VR spin-off Horizon Calll of the Mountain.

Aloy’s mission on the west coast of the American continent is not over yet. A new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West introduced the DLC Burning Shores. In the expansion, the courageous heroine travels to the ruins of Los Angeles, which can be explored either over the water or on the back of a sun wing. However, the former metropolis not only offers beautiful landscapes and remains of once majestic buildings. A huge machine menace is also approaching and poses new challenges for players.

As Guerilla announced, the DLC will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5, as they wanted to “technically and creatively realise the grand vision”.

In addition, Guerilla released a new gameplay trailer for Horizon Call of the Mountain. The short clip shows that we will not only be in tropical areas in the VR spin-off. Frosty climes in the high mountains will also be part of the upcoming adventure.

While Horizon Call of the Mountain will already be available for PlayStation VR2 on 22 February, Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores will be released on 19.
