In GTA Online, Rockstar is currently celebrating American independence. That’s why you can buy the musket and the firework launcher for a short time.

GTA Online offers its players a whole range of weapons. We have already presented the best of them, which you can use in 2021, in a guide. Currently, you can get two very special weapons with the musket and the firework launcher – but only for a short time and if you don’t already own them, of course.

Two rare weapons at a reduced price

Which weapons are meant exactly? H3Firework Launcher: The firework launcher from GTA Online is a modified version of the rocket launcher and is assigned to the “Heavy Weapon” class. The firework launcher in GTA Online is not actually a particularly effective weapon, but it can still cause damage and even start fires. Overall, however, it is more to be understood as a nice gimmick.

How expensive are the weapons?

Cheaper than normal: For the current event week of GTA Online, the musket is reduced in price by more than 50 percent and the firework launcher by exactly 50 percent. The current prices are as follows:

Musket: 7,500 instead of 21,400 GTA Dollars
Firework launcher: 32,500 instead of 65,000 GTA dollars

Where can I buy the weapons?

At any Ammu Nation: The musket and firework launcher are available at any regular Los Santos gun shop. So all you have to do is visit any Ammu Nation in the game world of GTA Online, both weapons can be found on the right wall of the vendors.

Why are the guns so “rare”?

Only available on (American) holidays: The musket and the firework launcher were originally added to GTA Online to celebrate American Independence Day. Afterwards, the weapons disappeared again from the Ammu-Nations of the game world. Since then, however, they have returned regularly when there is a similar occasion.

In Europe and Germany, however, these kinds of celebrations are often overlooked, even when Rockstar draws attention to them in its own newswire so even veterans can miss the opportunity. That’s why even veterans may have missed the opportunity to add the musket and fireworks launcher to their inventory.

This is how long you still have: Currently, both weapons are available in GTA Online until July 8, 2021, after which you will have to wait again until Rockstar adds them back to GTA 5’s multiplayer mode.

The musket and the fireworks launcher are always only available on special American holidays in GTA Online.

Do the weapons disappear again after the event week?

No, the weapons do not disappear from your inventory after the end of the current event week, as long as you have bought them beforehand. You will still be able to purchase ammunition for the musket and the firework launcher.

However, both firearms will no longer be available for purchase after 8 July 2021. If you miss the current event week, you will have to wait until the next American holiday, when Rockstar will offer the weapons for sale again.

In addition to the two weapons, many vehicles are also on sale. So that you don’t lose the overview, we have compiled nine vehicles for you that every player should own in GTA Online:

Among them is the Kosatka submarine, which you need for the Cayo Perico Heist. The Kosatka is rarely on sale and it’s worth grabbing it now. You can then celebrate your purchase in style with the firework launcher.
