Gothic Online: Untold Chapters is already playable and turns the German role-playing game series into an MMORPG. The multiplayer mod is available for download free of charge. It is a fan-developed project based on Gothic 2: Night of the Raven.

In the trailer, the developers now show the lovingly recreated locations from Gothic 1 and Gothic 2 for six minutes, in which you now fight with other players in PvE or PvP. The Untold Chapters are based on the quasi-prequel Minental Online, but have been expanded to include all the areas from Gothic 2 and its add-on.

As a result, the entire island of Khorinis is now available on multiplayer servers. However, the magic barrier from part 1 is still active and prisoners in the mining valley must regularly send ore outside to receive needed goods in exchange.

The server IP and installation instructions for Gothic Online: Untold Chapters can be found on the official website. The server operators also have a strict set of rules: Roleplay (RP) is mandatory. Among other things, you first have to earn a place in a guild before you can start slaying orcs – typical Gothic!
