Ghostrunner has already won many fans, and also earned a high rating in the GlobalESportNews test. Now the successor has a release date.
The gaming summer and autumn of 2023 is not exactly lacking in highlights: Diablo 4 kicked things off in June, followed by Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield will be released soon and the cyberpunk expansion Phantom Liberty and, last but not least, a new Call of Duty await in the autumn.
Between all the blockbusters, there is always room for smaller highlights. Already on 26 October 2023 for example, a cyberpunk secret tip will be released, namely Ghostrunner 2
Enormous Potential
You’ve never heard of Ghostrunner 2? We already gave its predecessor 85 points in the GlobalESportNews test and thus a Gold Award. It is a hard-hitting, fast-paced action game in which we have to fight our way through various levels armed only with a katana and our parkour skills.
A single hit means our death, which is why we often need several attempts for particularly tricky sections, and always have to move quickly and craftily at the same time. The difficult battles, mixed with the spectacular parkour interludes (wallrunning included) and the dense cyberpunk atmosphere result in a gripping game that convinces (92 percent of all Steam players)
Ghostrunner 2, which finally got a release date (October 26, in case you missed it above), wants to follow in the futuristic footsteps of the first part, but has a big innovation up its sleeve: You are no longer only on foot, but also on a motorbike, as you can already see in the trailer above.
