Every Thursday from 5pm you can download two free games for free from the Epic Games Store. This week it Black Book and Dodo Peak, which are available for free until the same time next week. Once downloaded, they will remain permanently saved in your games library, as always. This means you can save the titles now for the cold winter.

Black Book takes you into a dark world based on Slavic fairy tales and legends. As a young sorceress named Vasilisa, you fight against nightmarish demons and search for the mysterious Black Book, which can grant wishes. The game combines turn-based tactical RPG combat with gritty adventure and requires the skillful use of cards and demon powers. Especially those of you who like dark Eastern European fairy tales and fantasy á la Witcher should grab this one.

In Dodo Peak you control a cute dodo through 60 varied levels. Your task is to bring back your kidnapped eggs while dodging obstacles like lava rocks, yetis and arrowheads. The game offers retro platformer action and requires strategic thinking and skill. Dodo Peak is perfect for entertaining fun in between games!

You can download the free games Black Book and Dodo Peak from the Epic Games Store until 24 August at 16:59. Enough time for a game before the upcoming release of Starfield
