It’s widely known that Germany can put out top games by now. Now the hotly anticipated Enshrouded finally the first gameplay trailer. Enshrouded by developer (Keen Games) is to be released in 2023 and takes us into a fantasy world full of secrets. The studio also wants to bring something new out of the well-known genre. You can already find the title on (Steam) wishlisten.
Hope for the gaming market now comes from the action RPG Enshrouded after the disappointing release of Gollum. In a 4-minute gameplay trailer, the developers present the game’s combat and character system, but also the impressive fantasy world.

The Enshrouded gameplay clip also shows that players have a variety of weapons at their disposal. In addition to the traditional sword and shield, you will also be able to fight your enemies from a distance with bows or wands. Different types of enemies are presented and even a first boss opponent was shown. We also get a look at the extensive skill tree. It is clear from the gameplay trailer that Enshrouded will motivate players to tinker and expert with their own character.
Although the combat system in Enshrouded seems solid at first glance, it doesn’t offer any groundbreaking elements that aren’t already familiar in a similar form. One notable feature, however, is the destructible environment, which allows you to dismantle a large part of your environment and surprise your opponents with it.
The released video marks the beginning of a special planned video series by the developers that will introduce the game’s cornerstones of combat, building and survival. It remains to be seen whether the studio in Frankfurt will manage to seamlessly combine all these elements and create a coherent gaming experience. For now, however, Enshrouded looks promising.
