Dr. Disrespect and Twitch have finally settled their legal dispute. Does this mean the streamer’s comeback on the platform?

The internet literally exploded when Twitch announced in mid-2020 that their longtime partner Dr. Disrespect had been permanently banned from the streaming platform. The dispute escalated so much that the popular streamer even sued his former employer. Various theories were put forward on social media about the reason for the ban.

To date, both parties have remained silent on the matter. Now, however, they have been able to settle their dispute.

Dr. Disrespect posted a statement on Twitter announcing that the legal dispute with Twitch had been settled. Neither party had admitted any wrongdoing, he explained.

Many of the streamer’s fans then wanted to know whether the end of the dispute would mean a Twitch comeback for Herschel Beahm, his real name. The answer followed promptly: “To answer all your questions. The Doc will not be returning to Twitch. “

So a return to the streaming platform is out of the question. However, it is unclear whether Dr. Disrespect may theoretically appear on the channels of other content creators, for example in a joint stream.

What should be clear, however, is that both parties will continue to remain silent about the disputes. So we will probably never know the exact background to the dispute.
