Crowdfunding campaign launched for The Witcher: Path of Destiny

Fans of board and card games can now participate in the crowdfunding campaign for The Witcher: Path of Destiny the latest game from Go On Board, set in The Witcher universe and developed in close collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED 

The game offers:

  • A combination of board and card game mechanics.
  • The ability to step into the shoes of iconic Witcher characters such as Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer and others.
  • The reimagining of classic stories from the Witcher continent that are influenced by the choices players make.
  • The crowdfunding campaign is now available on Gamefound.

The Witcher: Path of Destiny is a 1-5 player board game that allows players to take on the roles of well-known Witcher characters and relive epic stories in the Witcher universe. Players have the freedom to make different choices and explore alternate paths in the stories. The game combines an engaging storyline with easy-to-understand but deep gameplay mechanics.

The crowdfunding campaign offers various support options and stretch goals that can affect the game’s content. Players will have the option to purchase the game in standard or deluxe versions prior to retail release, with the deluxe edition including exclusive goodies and all content unlocked during the campaign.

The successful collaboration between Go On Board and CD PROJEKT RED is evident in their previous project “The Witcher: Old World”, which was one of the most successful (crowdfunding campaigns) for a board game ever. The game was released worldwide in 17 language versions and enjoyed great popularity.
