In a gameplay preview last night, Bungie shared new glimpses of Destiny 2: The Final Form. Beginning in June, players will enter the Pale Heart of the Traveler to confront the Witness. With newly discovered powers, they will equip themselves for the upcoming confrontation. Among other things, the developers presented the Prism Focus, an innovative combination of light and dark powers, as well as the Abomination. This is a new type of enemy.

The Prism Focus opens up completely new ways to combine the powers of light and darkness. Destiny 2 players will be able to customize their playstyle by combining different elements. Each class will receive a unique grenade that fuses the elements in new ways. In addition, players will be able to equip Exotic class items for the first time. These have unique perks that are randomly shuffled and expand players’ abilities in exciting ways.

A New Enemy: The Abomination

The Abomination, a new enemy type in Destiny 2, is led into battle by the Witness. These aggressive fighters bring new abilities that can change the dynamics of battle. The new units include Grimm, Husk, Caretaker and Weaver. All have special attacks that will challenge players. These enemies will force players to carefully consider their strategies and positioning on the battlefield.

The Destiny 2 content update “Into the Light” is now available to all players for free. This update includes a variety of new content. This includes the Wave Defense activity  “Onslaught”, a selection of iconic weapons and the new Hall of Champions Revamped exotic missions, new raid boss battles and fresh rewards ensure continued motivation and gameplay fun.

With “The Final Form”, Bungie heralds the epic finale of the battle between light and darkness in Destiny 2. It will be available to all players on June 4 and can be pre-ordered here.
