Black Myth: Wukong doesn’t just want to inspire with its challenging gameplay. Developer Game Science also wants to offer something in terms of graphics. In the latest ray tracing trailer, we can get a taste of this visually stunning atmosphere

The trailers for Black Myth: Wukong so far have been as multifaceted as the original novel. We have already seen two trailers that take a humorous look at the production of the game. Another trailer gave us some mystical and mysterious insights into the world. The video released in December took up this mystical approach and combined it with various action-packed battle scenes.

The latest trailer for Black Myth: Wukong focuses on the atmosphere of the action adventure game with its lovingly designed locations. From sunlit river courses to dark temples and idyllic forest landscapes, Game Science and NVIDIA had a lot to offer us

So lulled by the relaxed atmosphere, the battle scenes at the end may come as a surprise to some.

Black Myth: Wukong is based on the Chinese novel “The Journey to the West”, in which the monkey king Sun Wukong plays the leading role. The action adventure game takes place after the events of the novel and deals on the one hand with the question of what happened to Wukong after he attained Buddha status. Here we explain everything you need to know about the novel and the prehistory of the game.

On the other hand, the game would like to focus on the demons (Yaoguai, 妖 怪) and explain what drives the monsters and why they have become enemies of the Monkey King.

Since Black Myth: Wukong will be released on August 20 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, we will hopefully see even more trailers in the coming months. We will keep you up to date accordingly.
